Question/suggestion (2)
Hello!
I wonder what the match frequency will be like. You want to find the sweet spot between a not too high frequency. but also not too slow.
My personel suggestion would be:
Monday - Cup match (if applicable)
Tuesday - Possible friendly
Wednesday - League match
Thursday - Possible friendly
Friday - International cup (CL/EL) (if applicaple)
Saturday - Possible friendly
Sunday - League Match
Competition would last 17 weeks IRL, then, which fits 3 in a year. Curious about your position on this. If this is too slow, maybe:
Monday - Cup match
Tuesday - League
Wednesday - Friendly
Thursday - League
Friday - Friendly
Saturday - International cup
Sunday League
A competition would then last 11 weeks IRL. Maybe a bit short?
I really appreciate feedback like this. Really helps me, to see this from an angle of people who actually play this game.
As you can see in the latest announcement, this actually made put a complete overhaul on the current calendar.
Even though i don’t completely agree with you, i think some form of pace will make managers feel engaged.
The reason i don’t fully agree with is the following, if you’re playing second league, you’re knocked out of the cup fast, you’re not managing a national league and obviously you’re not playing European football, that means you will only have like two matches a week. There will be no reason for you to log on here regularly. There will be no excitement and you’ll be bored in no time.
When thinking of these things i need to take every angle in view. The angle of European giants. But also small second league sides (and hopefully soon third league sides for the popular competitions).
But as i mentioned in the announcement, i did do a complete overhaul. Seasons now last about 45 days.
In the new feature “Season planner” you will get a nice glance on what this looks like. Even though the Domestic cup and Elite Champions cup only kick off next season.
I will also open up applications for the national teams on Monday. So that everyone can play around with national teams as well as their club teams.
Should add more excitement!
